Babcock acquired VT Group in July 2010 and continues to provide a unique skills set to support MoD's vehicle fleet requirements around the world. As the largest supplier of vehicle management and support solutions to the British Armed Forces, we are uniquely placed to meet our customers' requirements. Our innovative approach to managing complex vehicle fleets encompasses White Fleet non-combat vehicles, C-Vehicle plant and construction equipment and a full transport management service for Project Allenby/Connaught.

Babcock is also the global marketing partner for REME training and a leading trainer of service personnel, working closely with the training schools at Aborfield and Bordon and for the forthcoming tri-Service Support Vehicle.

In support of Project Allenby/Connaught, Babcock provide over 28,500 driven tasks a year, 43,600 self drive tasks for the MOD, drawing from both White Fleet assets and short term hirers. In addition the Babcock operated workshops at Aldershot and Warminster, complete over 2,500 maintenance events a year and still achieves an average daily availability to the customer of over 92% of the Green Fleet vehicles that Babcock maintains.
