The Sports Hall is the scene of many varied activities, from climbing and abseiling to trampolining and short tennis, basketball to hockey and football, netball to volleyball and badminton.
It also contains two gymnasia, one for MoD personnel and one for the community.

With 53 items of cardio-vascular and resistance equipment, the fitness studio is available during normal leisure centre opening hours. New users will need to take an initial induction session with a qualified instructor.

The leisure centre has a six-lane, 25-metre pool, which is reserved for MoD military training from 0700 to 1400 hrs from Monday to Friday (until 1700 hrs on Wednesdays). It is available for public use during other normal opening hours – as are the learner and splash pools, complete with 50-metre flume.

All members of the community can use the library free of charge. As well as books, magazines and reference documents, it provides videos, CDs, tapes, Internet-access, activities for children and
study materials using media including CD-ROM.

The leisure centre café is open seven days a week, from 0930 to 1700 hrs on weekdays, and 1000 to 1700 hrs at weekends. It is operated by Coffee Carousel.

The Army Welfare Service provides a crèche, open to all children between nine months and three years, and a playgroup for three to five-year-olds.
There is also a confidential advice bureau for families, as well as a Families Centre with a resident community development worker.

UK Athletics has licensed this covered, recently refurbished facility, complete with flood lighting and PA system, as a suitable venue for championship events.

The pitch is available throughout the year, daytime or evening, for hockey and five-a-side football.

The theatre is in Jellalabad Barracks, and can hold audiences of up to 750 in its auditorium and balcony. It has full bar facilities, and may be reserved for social events. Call the booking desk for

The all-grass garrison cricket ground and pavilion are of county class standard.

The Tidworth Equestrian Centre provides livery stables, paddocks, a covered riding school and outdoor arena. The Saddle Club is currently providing all levels of riding tuition and full livery, seven days a week.
Tidworth Polo Club runs training courses throughout the season (April to September), from introductory level right through to expert.
It is the UK’s largest services polo club that is open to all. It provides discounts to service personnel.

Bulford Camp’s four-lane, 25-metre pool – located in Kashmir Road.

Located in Ward Barracks, the Bulford Study Centre is a fully electronic touch-screen auditorium seating up to 275. An ideal venue for large group presentations, conferences, seminars and briefings.
