Many of Project Allenby/Connaught’s sites are located adjacent to designated ecologically-sensitive areas, areas of outstanding natural beauty or within regions of archaeological significance, such as the Stonehenge World Heritage Site.

Project Allenby/Connaught has a unique opportunity to make significant improvements to the sustainability and environmental performance of the garrisons given the economies of scale, the volume of operational activity, number of stakeholders, and the quantity and sensitivity of the land.
