Military Stadium

The Aldershot Military Stadium is an ideal venue for a corporate fun day, schools athletic days, charity events and much, much more. The athletic track is a fully floodlit eight lane, 400m track with full field event facilities. The main stand comprises spectator seating for over 1000, changing facilities, VIP lounge and control/announcement box.

During the winter season, (September-April), the centre field area is converted to the stadium football pitch. The stadium track is still available for use along with the jump pits. However, all the throwing disciplines move to our training area on Mons track. The military stadium also provides changing, catering and bar facilities within the Garretts Clubhouse building.

Rugby Stadium

This stadium is indeed the ideal venue for a big match or showcase final and can host a variety of sports and promotional events due to its size and location.

The stadium itself has a 500 seat spectator stand with changing facilities, physio room and toilet facilities, including disabled facilities, housed within. It is situated next door to the military stadium and therefore can therefore share the facilities of the Garretts Clubhouse.

The stadium is fully floodlit enabling both day and evening events.

Wavell Football Complex

Wavell football complex comprises two fully floodlit grass football pitches and a small pavilion. The football pitches are available for both training and matches throughout the day and evenings. The pavilion has changing rooms and a kitchen area and can be hired along with the football pitches.

Queen’s Avenue – football and rugby pitches

Queen’s Avenue is an open area comprising a number of grassed pitches. There are four full-size football pitches, six pitches for six-a-side and four rugby pitches, two of which are fully floodlit and one half lit.

Astroturf hockey pitches

The garrison has two all-weather Astroturf pitches, one of which is fully floodlit. Although originally designed for purely hockey use, they are now available for use as training grounds for most sports and come complete with either hockey or five-a-side football goals on each pitch.

Cricket ground complex

We have two cricket pitches located on the garrison with the premier pitch a county-class wicket. Both pitches share the Army cricket pavilion. There is ample parking available on site and catering for the pavilion can be arranged through the Garretts clubhouse situated in the military stadium. This is a great venue not only for cricket matches but also for children’s sports camps, charity matches or corporate business meetings and conferences.

Maida gymnasium

Maida gymnasium is a stand-alone building with a double sports hall. One half houses a boxing ring, punch bags, weights equipments and spectator seating and the opposite side of the hall is available for a variety of indoor sports and is used by the Aldershot Garrison Sports Centre for fitness classes. The gymnasium boasts a 300 seat retractable tiered spectator area.
