Health and fitness studio

The Aldershot Garrison Sports Centre (AGSC) fitness studio provides a friendly, welcoming and safe environment in which to exercise. Our team of qualified professional instructors is available to design personal exercise programmes to suit your needs and help achieve your goals. The fitness room is fully staffed so there is always an instructor on hand to answer any questions and offer advice.

Personal training

We know that everyone’s goal is different and so this is a fantastic way for you to achieve your goals. Your personal trainer will focus on what you want and help you look and feel the very best.

This service is about achieving your personal best whilst keeping your goals in sight assisted by your personal trainer.

How to book:

Simply ask a fitness instructor to book you a consultation with our personal trainers and we will set your session planner in motion.

The squash courts

Our courts are of exceptional quality boasting a championship surface with ample viewing galleries with under floor heating and unobstructed views of all the action.

There are six championship glass-backed fully-sprung untreated beach wood floor squash courts at the sports centre which are available. Please book in advance. 01252 347724.

The sports hall

The sports centre has a double sports hall comprising eight badminton courts, two basketball courts, two netball courts, three volleyball courts - including a championship court, two five-a-side pitches, one indoor hockey pitch, table tennis facilities as well as being equipped for martial arts, aerobic, circuit and fitness classes.

The sports hall has a fully-sprung Olympic standard wooden floor and is ideal for the range of sports available to play on it. However, the sports hall is far more diverse than that and has hosted car launch functions, displays and fairs of various types.

The swimming pool

The swimming pool is a 50 metre, eight lane Olympic length pool.

The unique feature of the pool is that there is a moveable boom which can be used to create a range of configurations:

The standard 50 metre pool
Two 25 metre pools
One 40 metre and one 10 metre pools

The depth of the smaller pool can be changed with the use of a hydraulic floor. This enables the pool to have a depth from two metres to deck level if required.

At the deep end of the pool are the diving facilities with three metre and one metre spring boards, and three metre and five metre platforms with adjustable flow rates and diving visibility spray bar available.

The swimming pool is also available with a full size water polo pitch and can also operate as a championship/gala pool, complete with International Omega timing equipment.
